The MCC Engineering group excels at designing custom HVAC systems for all types of applications and different markets. They have the skills and are qualified to offer innovative products. The team has the knowledge and the skills to assist in your electrification journey, ensure perfect control of the temperature and offer full communication with the vehicle. We can guarantee complete, innovative and customized solutions with outstanding performance.
Engineering Services
MCC is now offering the expertise and knowledge built up over years of work in the areas of HVAC testing, Validation, and CFD/FEA analysis on a separate fee for service basis. This includes the rental of our state of the art climate chambers and the support of our skilled staff in carrying out performance, robustness and reliability tests for all types of equipment, and in all types of conditions. We develop and tailor test process and configuration for each client.
With MCC engineering simulation services as soon as a CAD model is available, a CFD/FEA analysis can be conducted to check if there is any flow, thermal or structural issue. Research and Development
Our R&D capabilities enable complex analysis, design and verification of complete climate systems. Closely connected to the R&D process is the Prototype process, which enables us to ensure a perfect physical fit of the HVAC system into the vehicle. It also provides us with HVAC units that are functionally validated at an early stage of the development process. The most recent addition to our prototype capabilities is in-house rapid prototyping with 3-D printing, where we can create almost any complex structure in a very short time.
State of the art testing facilities
MCC´s research and development testing facilities include extensive equipment for testing the performance of HVAC systems as well as components within the systems. Our custom-built climate chambers in Toronto (Canada) and Norrtälje (Sweden), along with our testing facility for AC in York (USA) are the core of our test facilities. Our climate chambers with large internal volume are capable of accepting vehicles up to a full length articulated transit bus.
The MCC test facilities meet the demanding expectations of being a sophisticated and flexible engineering tool. With our sophisticated and flexible test chambers and analysis equipment, we are able to quantify performance, robustness and reliability of all types of equipment, in all types of conditions. We develop and tailor test processes and configurations for each client. Our in-house developed advanced software enables us to shorten our validation lead times as well as to substantially improve accuracy throughout.
MCC has invested significantly in equipment but our greatest asset is our skilled and experienced engineers.
